Dr. Marina Pizarro has devoted over 20 years to the treatment of female and male hair loss. She specializes in permanent hair restoration and hair transplantation. With over 100,000 procedures performed, her extensive experience has made an incomparable difference in the quality of the aesthetic results she achieves for her patients.

She performed a two year Hair Restoration and Transplantation fellowship, with Dr. Constantine Chambers, one of the leaders in the field. This “one on one” training included every aspect of hair restoration, the use of the Micro Graft Technique, and non-surgical therapies for hairloss. The Fellowship also included traveling with the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), to international conventions around the world (e.g., Spain, Greece, Canada and various cities in the United States).

In 1994 she opened her own hair restoration practice, Pizarro Medical Group, with offices located in Orlando, Jacksonville and Clearwater, Florida.

She is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and the American Medical Association. Dr. Pizarro is recognized as a specialist in mini and micro-graft techniques and as a specialist for the newest Microscopic Follicular Hair Transplantation techniques.

Dr. Pizarro prides herself on being meticulous and using techniques to create very natural hairlines and to fill in balding areas. In a field dominated by “assembly line production” techniques, Dr. Pizarro remains a craftsman, carefully placing the grafts one by one with an artist’s eye.

Dr. Pizarro completed her medical degree in 1985 at Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. Upon graduation Dr. Pizarro moved to Orlando, Florida to complete her residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Pizarro is licensed to practice medicine in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan and Puerto Rico.
