After much reflection, I am writing to share an important and very personal decision. After 28 years of practicing plastic surgery in the Orlando area, I will be closing my practice at the end of my lease, and returning home to Vancouver, B.C., to be closer to my family.
This has not been an easy choice. Caring for you – through surgery, post-op visits, difficult moments, celebrations and everything in between – has been a privilege. Many of you have trusted me with your health for decades, and I am deeply grateful for the relationships we have built.
I will continue performing surgical procedures through October 30, 2026, and I will remain available for any postoperative care needs through December 31, 2026. The MedSpa will also remain open until October 16.
I am in discussion with Dr. Kendall Peters, a well-qualified local plastic surgeon, who is very interested in taking over the practice. Several of my staff members will be continuing on with him. While this change-over process is still in its early days, I am optimistic that that he will be able to provide continuity of care for many of you.
During this time period, my staff and I will work to ensure that every patient receives appropriate post-op care and follow-up, guidance and support. Your medical records will remain accessible through this office, and you may request a copy, or authorize their transfer to another provider at any time (with completion of the usual written permission form.)
